Texx AG is rolling out the automotive future. Texx AG is putting the electric automotive future on the road with the "Fiat 500 TexxInside©". On 12th October 2010, this proprietary development of Texx AG received the highest official blessing: approval for road use. This means that the day-to-day usability of electric mobility has now become reality.
The official approval for the "Fiat 500 TexxInside©" is the result of many years of development work. The first milestone was successfully achieved with presentation of the highly efficient BMS (Battery Management System) at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010. Since then, significant progress has been made in the areas of charging speed and range. The result represents a considerable improvement on previously available electric cars.
The "Fiat 500 TexxInside©" has a range of 220 km per charge and can be recharged in around 50 minutes. The Texx charging logic is suitable for both the common 230 V as well as 400 V 3-phase fast charging (DC/DC-compatible). The Texx BMS makes it possible to use more energy from the accumulators - approximately 95% of the charged energy is available for use again. The "Fiat 500 TexxInside©" was brought to series production maturity in record time without the support of established car manufacturers. According to the Chairman of the Board of Texx AG, Panagiotis Spiliopoulos, the BMS used in the "Fiat 500 TexxInside©" features an open architecture. It can therefore be easily configured for manufacturer-specific requirements and uses the most powerful lithium-ion batteries. The "Fiat 500 TexxInside©" is not a prototype car, but is available for purchase.
The "Fiat 500 Texx Inside©" has proven itself in everyday use over months and has performed without any problems whatsoever. The "TexxInside BMS" – a lithium battery management system – is ready for series production, versatile, highly efficient, high quality and adaptive. Straightforward integration in vehicle systems with predictable costs is guaranteed by consistent application of industry and automotive standards, modular hardware and flexible software design as well as digital interface support. The "TexxInside" BMS from Texx AG meets the highest quality standards in every respect. The result: absolute precision and safety, with maximum performance.
The future belongs to electric cars – and is already here.
